About Aniyah
Aniyah graduated from the 800-hour massage program at East West College of the Healing Arts in 2025. Prior to massage therapy, she spent three years in the mental and behavioral health field, receiving intensive training in trauma-informed care, peer support, crisis intervention, and somatic embodiment practices. She completed her Reiki Master Initiation in 2023 and has developed an energy practice aligned with her cultural lineage, which she integrates into her bodywork. Aniyah is a transgender woman who has lived in Portland for over three years. Outside of her work, she finds joy connecting with friends through dancing, karaoke, and cooking, and spends sunny days by the river or on long walks through the city.
Her current studies include Traditional Chinese Medicine and abdominal and pelvic health, with training in External Pelvic Floor Manual Therapy and ongoing study in Chi Nei Tsang (Taoist Abdominal Massage). Aniyah’s arrival on this focus is woven into her personal story. After years spent navigating pelvic and abdominal pain, due to compiled traumas from her childhood and adulthood, and the difficulty of finding a compatible pelvic floor practitioner, led her toward this specialty. She's glad to also extend manual pelvic health services to the trans-expansive community at Soma Discovery in Oregon City, alongside her work in Portland at Lavender Moon Wellness.
